1. When should I see my attorney?
You should call your attorney as soon as possible after the accident.
2. Who pays my attorney?
The insurance company wil pay your attorney and/or at the settlement of your case your attorney will receive an agreed upon fee of 15-20% of the settlement.
3. Will I receive payment for my pain and suffering?
Worker's compensation does not provide for pain and suffering payments.
4. May I sue my employer?
So long as your employer has a worker's compensation plan in effect and has dealt fairly with you, the worker's compensation laws will bar a law suit.
